What is Home Yum?

Home Yum is a marketplace where you can find a variety of delicious meals, bakes, condiments and more made by local food creators

You can also find businesses offering ready-to-eat meal services that you can subscribe to by setting up recurring order in the platform.

Can I choose pick-up option?

Home Yum offers delivery only. We bring your food from creators right to your door step.

Can I get my order delivered immediately in real-time?

Home Yum features food businesses specializing in fresh, made-to-order food. While most require preparation time, not all do, and some offer immediate delivery.

When ordering, you'll see either scheduling option or the ability to order in real-time or both, depending on the business's availability.

Why do I not see all days/times for delivery?

Local food creators operate differently from traditional restaurants. Many require varying advance notice periods to prepare their bespoke dishes fresh for you.

Delivery dates and times will vary by store, depending entirely on the food creators. Some offer on-demand delivery, while others accept pre-orders with at least one day's notice—or even longer.

How do I create recurring orders/subscribe to a menu?

If you see a calendar icon next to a menu item in a store, it means the food creator is allowing subscription orders to be placed.

Click on the calendar icon, choose the start and end dates, and select the frequency. Your subscription is all set. You’ll need to add balance to your Home Yum wallet to place subscription orders.

Unable to place recurring orders?

Please ensure your Home Yum wallet has sufficient funds to cover recurring orders as this is the mode of payment accepted for recurring orders.

How do I get help?

Regardless of the issue, if you need Home Yum's help with an order or anything else, reach out to Home Yum's support team by clicking on the Chat option from your mobile app.

Are you having account issues?

If you are unable to log in due to a wrong or forgotten password, username, etc., the best way to proceed is to reset your password from the sign-in page or the profile section of your app.

Are you having payment issues?

If you encounter problems while making a payment for an order, please confirm that you are using a valid card for the transaction. For recurring orders, ensure that your wallet has enough balance. If issues persist, please contact support at support@homeyum.ca.

If you notice any missing payments or discrepancies, please allow 5–7 business days for all transactions to be accurately reflected. If the issue continues, reach out to support at support@homeyum.ca.

Refund of Home Yum wallet cash?

Any cash in your Home Yum wallet that wasn’t purchased by you (e.g., promotions, rebates, courtesy refunds, etc.) is not eligible for a refund. If you need a refund for cash you’ve purchased, please contact our support team at support@homeyum.ca, and they will assist you.

How to add Promo Codes?

Any valid promo codes applicable to your order should be visible for selection from the list in your cart. In many cases, these promo codes are automatically applied. If you have issues, contact support right away at support@homeyum.ca.
